Professional Background

I have my masters in Early Childhood Education and a bachelors in Elementary Education. I spent 2 years working as a Reading Interventionist for Kindergarten. The position worked with students on different literacy skills. Following that position, I worked as a Developmental Kindergarten teacher where I worked on developing a developmentally appropriate curriculum. I created a balanced curriculum by integrating kindergarten and preschool curriculums to fit my young 5s students. Currently, I teach fourth grade. It's been an amazing adventure to bring technology into the curriculum. I've also enjoyed exploring the workshop model for reading and writing.
