Ms. Puuri believes in providing students opportunities to work together and think deeper. Design thinking is used with STEM to help guide students through the inquiry process.
Instruction varies depending on topic. Most lessons are taught using the workshop model. In addition to workshop, Nearpod, lectures, partner work, inquiry based learning, and Kahoots - are used to instruct students.
To plan for small groups, in reading and writing, data is collected. Formal and informal data collection took place and then it was analyzed. After that, groups and teaching points were formed based on the data.
