Jackie Puuri is the founder of Enlightened Corner. She is a teacher, learning coach, blogger, writer, and positive thinker.
Jackie has her masters in Early Childhood Education and a bachelors in Elementary Education. She spent 2 years working as a Reading Interventionist for Kindergarten. The position worked with students below grade level on different literacy skills. Following that position, she worked as a Developmental Kindergarten teacher where she worked on developing a developmentally appropriate curriculum. She created a balanced curriculum by integrating kindergarten and preschool curriculums to fit her young 5s students. Currently, she teaches fourth grade. In her classroom, she provides rich experiences for students to be innovators, thinkers and leaders. She is passionate about growth mindset, Reggio Emilia, mindfulness and so much more. As much as she can, she integrates technology into the curriculum. She loves to collaborate and network with others. Enlightened Corner is her way of giving back to the community. Through the company she can share ideas with other educators - while also providing learning coaches to learners interested in learning new things. |
